Synopsis
The article presents a qualitative study on the assessment and management of concurrent hearing, vision, and cognitive impairments in older persons by conducting a survey on the perspectives of professionals in hearing, dementia and vision care. Topics include the need for cross-discipline training and guidelines for clinicians for better assessment and care strategies and the specialties of the professionals involved in the study, including psychology, audiology, and optometry.
